Some flexibility of the hat REALLY would have helped this piece. For a night scene, the lighting is good and we can clearly read the emotions. The lip sync is good (could use additional polishing ("again" is not reading well)). Obviously the characters were shifted on the cut, as was the lighting, which is noticeable, but the pros do it all the time so I can't fault you too much. That said, softening that backlight and emphasizing a rim light from the front would have been a better choice, in my opinion. The performances are good and believable. The wave of the hand on "time machine" is slightly obvious, but the movement of the space ship with the audio cue is well done. Overall, a good entry.
