Wow, your drawings are very nice! I like the idea as well. My biggest issue with this piece is the continuity. Based on your last scene, your character isn't looking the correct direction in the second shot. We see the knot & tie on the left side of his face in the last shot, but it's on the right side in the second shot. Also, he's looking camera left in shot 2 where he should be looking camera right. Maybe just flip your animation in shot 2 and see where that gets you?
