That shrug felt too mechanical. I don’t think you eased enough, I think you maybe needed some kind of anticipation, but most of all, I think it needed to affect more of the body and posture.

Your blocking work with the camera is very good. There are a few improvements I'd suggest though.

The elbows on the girl are jangling around. If you're using IK make sure you're keying the pole vectors as well.
The background looks like something you bought online, but it really doesn't enhance the scene since the characters aren't using and interacting with it.

The characters also feel very stiff. It doesn't feel like the motion is being carried upwards from the torso and hips on either character.

Try adding rotation to the neck and chest, and offset slightly the movement of the limbs, to give more fluidity to their movements. Blinking also helps character feel more alive
