For such a simplistic style, a decent amount was accomplished here. A subtle turn toward the camera to open the shot and begin the dialogue, for example. You managed to work in a second angle with the showing of the cell phone. What is here is pretty good, but there just isn't much here.
Keeping with the simplistic style, you can add in eye brows to show extra emotion. Instead of single lines for eyes, draw ovals, so you can include some blinking or closing eyes while laughing.
