I really this idea, but I’m not sure the story is exactly coming across as well as it could. It took me two viewings to notice that she was wet and dripping - maybe you could keep that going for longer? And maybe the bucket could be tipped over? A little more signposting to explain your idea would help that land I think.

I think your animation is good - the timing of the slip and catch himself on the pole could maybe benefit from a smear frame between 264 and him being back up in position, but there’s a lot to like - I particularly like the flip out of the trunk, it has a lovely flow to it.

Small thing but maybe next time you could move the animation more into the centre too? It made me feel like I was expecting something to come in to the left side of the page and fill that empty space. You’re limited in changing things like that after you start if you’re using traditional media, I know, but for next time maybe!

Charlotte:

Some interesting bits of acting but the framing doesn't put the characters forward : the big elephant is stuck in the corner with barely any space to act, and the other animal is very small so it's difficult to read her expressions and poses.

Richard Adams:

Lol. Love your idea! Beautifully executed, too. Animation itself not as smooth as it could be, but so well drawn, both characters. You have real drawing talent!

Jack Hebert:

Needs some work.
