The beginning scene was a chef's kiss! Showing how wary and paranoid the father rat is in scouting for danger, and a love how scraggly his appearance is compared to his child's! Awesome animation! :))
artchoke:
To me, the characters feel flat, due to the difference in shading of backgrounds and character, and the consistency of volume and perspective in the drawings
Despite that, your able to set a compelling atmosphere, and improving your perspective and volume will guarantee your next piece looks amazing!
Jonathan White:
Great art style, I think the character designs could be improved, but I'm not sure how
John Alston:
I think this might be the most "complete" scene depicted and with great staging.
Perhaps my only bit of advice is to try to figure out how to handle "jaggies" - I think these are inevitable for raster films, but perhaps there could be more anti-aliasing in later animations or in post.
Peggy Tsai:
aesthetics and animation are both so good!
