Good work! I think you have a good sense for actions and poses that convey the emotions well.
One thing I would recommend is varying the movements between the right and left arm and/or offsetting the timing of their motions a little bit. As it is right now they're "twinning" a bit, and I think changing that would add some more life to it =)

I mean, I think if this is cutout animation, it needs more manually manipulated keyframes, and if this is frame by frame- okay, I'll be direct..
Draw a butterfly. Draw an X where you want it to end up (keep the X permanent)
Wing up, wing neutral, wingdown, wing-neutral (upswing)..
Now, you'll quickly realize that it'll take you more drawings to provide a believable butterfly arc than to treat it like a paper airplane.
But you'll get better. And I'll hopefully be less harsh.
