This surreal-type style is really great! I'm not sure if you would use this style for the larger story, or only for certain sequences, but I think it would work well to bring in the psychology of the person being spoken to, perhaps other characters in the scenario are keeping things from them because of their mental/emotional state. Or it would also work well as a dream. Really nice!

The blur frame around 158-160 isn't really working properly. It comes and goes too quickly and the face doesn't change position enough so it ends up looking like something unintentional just sort of flashed on the screen for a second. You could try adding some frames at the start and end partially blurred to ease in and out of the motion, or you could lengthen the distance between where the face starts and ends up.
