An idea is here, but either due to poor rigs or lack of experience is a little obvious due to the small blue characters jaw seemingly unhinging and swinging rather than rotating open and closed.
Good news though there are tons of decent or great rigs out there for free or for cheap, you just have to look for them.
And if your really new at this, don't worry about the level of quality, like I said the idea is there, now all you need is some practice, and no matter how much you personally did or did not learn from this specific project, your next one will be better no matter what, so keep at it.

In general, it lacks the fundamentals
I would suggest learning the simple "bouncing ball" exercise to start understanding the basics of animation.

I like the reveal at the end.
