I think this could be a stronger piece if you didn't turn the character away from the camera during his opening line. Consider also your timing plus anticipation and followthrough actions to make the motions seem more realistic.

Very nice job with lip sync and hand gestures. I would probably animate his body a little or change to different poses while hi is talking.
