Very little happens with the characters, you need to review the animation principles, and add lots more key poses. The lip sync needs more mouth shapes, but good try and keep practicing. :)

If you didn't read it, I strongly suggest you to read Richard Williams' Animator's Survival Guide and learn about the pose to pose animation. I think you could learn a lot by doing it.
