What is happening at the beginning. It is not clear. Also the key poses could be improved.

I really like the third shot, with the monster. I would focus on improving the second shot, and honestly I would take the first shot out completely because it doesn't seem to add anything, is not part of the dialogue, and actually is kind of confusing.
