The key poses are good, and the way you've interpretted the audio is well thought out. But the animation really suffers from the lack of eases in and out, follow throughs, and ovelapping action.

The lip-sync could use some work. Not every syllable needs to have an open mouth, when speaking fast a closing mouth can already produce sound. This way the mouth movement could be smoother.
The characters could also become more lifelike if every part of the body is moving. Especially parts like the chest and core.

I used and tweaked the tuna rig to create this animation, focusing on facial expression and conveying emotion and comedy throughout.
