the movement is good, but it seems like you could push the poses a lot further, to be more expressive

Cool, animation. I'd of added some overlap or some follow through or something. They seem to hit a pose and then stop being alive once they hit the key pose you wanted. Also, consider some camera cuts, or even just a better camera position. The guys are the focus of the shot and they take up too little screen space.
