Your characters need to move more. This animation, with less expression and stilted characters, reminds me of the popular anime 'pop team epic'... the characters are simple and don't express much. But! That is an impressive show because of the zany situations and wacky backgrounds that supplement the simple, cute characters. Either experiment with expression, or with environment. Otherwise, it seems low-effort.
