I like it a lot overall, but I find myself distracted when his hands stop moving in mid-air. Even if they moved a few pixels it would improve it a lot.

I think when animating a living being it's best to also move the torso around too. Otherwise he's kind of stuck like a puppet.
I like where you're going with this though, keep it up!

It would look much better if you moved the torso and play with the weight on the hips
