I don't think your story comes across clearly. In addition, the background is very cluttered and it takes away from the character themself. If you wanted to improve this piece, I would zoom into the character so they take up more of the screen and simplify the background elements in shot. I think you did a decent job with the facial expressions, but you could use more squash and stretch to further push the emotions.

Richard Adams:

Feels more like an animatic than a finished animation. You have real drawing talent. Character hard to see as the cluttered background is so visible though him. Wish the character wasn't see-through. Very visually appealing. Needs more drawings per second to smooth it out. 8 stars. :)
