Hello there! Great job on this animation! I really like that you textured Malcolm’s hair and changed the rig to reflect the story. The story is pretty strong, but not completely clear. My interpretation is that the man is looking into the mirror and his clown self is talking to him. I think he has a job as a clown to make money for his family/someone he loves. If I or other people who’ve watched your animation guessed incorrectly, it might be best to revisit how you can make the story clearer. In terms of the animation, you did a great job with the posing! It is clear that you used reference footage and planned the character’s actions. However, I think there is an issue with the clavicles around frames 250-326. His shoulder seems to be stuck sideways and it looks a bit awkward, but this is a fixable thing. I also think the movements of the spine could be more subtle in certain parts, like when Malcolm is pointing down. Something that I think would really elevate your animation is filming reference for the Malcolm on the right. He seems to be breathing very rhythmically and mechanically. Making sure his movements are realistic, or even showing a physical reaction to the clown’s monologue, will help bring him more to life.

I like the timing and acting choices. I'd recommend building your skill by taking on smaller animations and coming back to this one and giving this another pass.
