I really love the premise and ending here, very unique! I think for such a cartoonish character, you should include much more squash and stretch and anticipation. Giving your character very deformed expressions that squish between emotions would really help to sell what your character is currently feeling. Right now, especially in the beginning, it can be a bit difficult to discern the expression your character is giving off due to this deficit in exaggerated emotion. Continuing with the idea of exaggeration, using this alongside anticipation would really help make every motion much more animated and expressive. Overall, I think what you have here is really cool and could just use a bit more detail to really turn this into a superb animation!
