I think I did great for my 6th and longest 2D animated short. My prior animations were simply 2 second loops or just 5 second videos. My main inspirations for this grotesque style and animation were; Courage the Cowardly Dog (animated TV show), YouTube animated parodies (owneyng, meatcanyon) and the latest Joker movie. Most of the emphasis and work was put into the handmade frame- by- frame mouth/ facial expressions and other subtle movements (the falling monocle, leg movement, subtle interaction between the two characters, etc.).
