I think the guy who opens the door should not be shown fully and make the shot a POV shot instead (so you only see the hand opening the door).. Right now it looks like she's talking to the audience and not the guy who opened the door (or maybe add his drop shadow on the floor)
Maybe the dog also need a mood change and get happy towards the end when she laughs. Just a thought! Keep it up!

The concept sounds fun but I feel like after awhile, it’s too simple. I like the twist but next time add more substance to what’s already a thin narrative. Thin narratives in animation are more fun when you can build upon the elements of surprise, especially in motion. So you can try adding more motion, life and narrative elements to the simple storyline,

Great idea! Needs better hand contact on the doorknob and with that, the arm pops at a certain point as well as the legs of the male opening the door. The lighting on the female's face is a bit weird. I would reposition so that her facial expression is clearer. I realize that she is seated on the floor, but you need to get the root and the lower body more involved in some way to support the movement of the upper body.
