Jad El-Khoury:
there's a couple quick things that could really improve this. the mother should make more eye contact with the girl and the girl could also make eye contact from around frame 230 onward.
You could also lean the mothers chest neck and head down towards the girl so she feels more connected to her.
The mothers hands could be more still when the girl says the line "now they think I'm some sad sack", it almost looks like the mother is saying that
Dante:
You got the lip sync down, next you can work on having more body language and making it less stiff
Maria:
Really lovely idea and characters, I would just perhaps like some change of behavior and contact during the emotional transition to "Really?"
Andrei Llacuna:
nice effort! but needs more exaggeration with the movement of the mouth especially with the little girl. Have a look and study some good animations with a dialogue frame by frame and you will see that the animators are never afraid to really open the mouths wide open.
The mother's arm moves around quite a bit and it's quite floaty. Remember to animate with a purpose.
They're quite "stuck" in place especially with their heads and eyes. try to play with the posing, eye darts, eyebrow movements, etc a little bit more.
