That one shot where their positions were changed was like whiplash for me. I would keep them in the same positions for continuity! The only way that is justified is if something in the scene narratively calls for that then you would have them change positions to motivate that camera move. Also, try making the push ins more subtle, not every shot needs a push in!

Your animation is nice but be careful whit your camera not to break the 180 degree rule it breaks your flow.

The chess 'flying off' animations feels a bit too slow. If you pause during the contact for a frame or two longer, and shorten the flying off animation, it would give more impact n looked more natural
